Our ethos is twofold.

To help local wildlife whilst benefiting the health and wellbeing of our volunteers.

Our long term aim is to establish safe, stress free routes and habitats that make it possible for wildlife to move around the local area but also creates a network of corridors that wildlife can utilise when affected by

Glastonbury Festival.
This will help to provide wildlife safety and an opportunity to relocate quickly and easily with as little stress as possible if or when required.
This will also encourage and expedite wildlife’s easy and stress free return once viable.
This way we can create a sustainable wildlife population in the area.

These are some of the projects and strategies we are working on or developing.

Wildflowers

Planting wildflowers and sowing wildflower seeds.
When our volunteers take mindfulness countryside walks we provide them with packets of wildflower seeds to scatter and sow. This way encourages repeat activity as they are eager to view any results and look for new signs of growth.

Bee's

We build beehives to give to local landowners so as to create a permanent bee presence in the area.

Bee's are always here, they do not emigrate or hibernate, they simply cluster together in their hives during winter for warmth.
